How important is using the augmentation copper footpads with your zapper?

The use of copper footpads in the augmentation mode was introduced by David Etheredge in the spring of 2003. At that time it was known from experimentation that the use of the foot pads not only produced a better zapper signal across the whole body, but also that their use produced better results. Only recently have we been able to compile data from our users to verify the information that was found in our original research.

Notice that with the footpads, the signal is larger ( stronger ) but the corners are more rounded.Without Current Compensation ( CCa, CC1, UZI ). The importance of this is that it shows a better transfer of the pulsed signal, especially the transfer of higher frequency signals which are most important. It is important that the zapper being used is strong enough to support the pads.
